The Nursery on Sunday Mornings

The Nursery is located on the first floor of the Children's Building, and is available every Sunday morning from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for infants all the way up to two years old. We have 17 certified caregivers on staff, with 2-3 per room, who are all certified in CPR and First Aid. Parents must register children at the Nursery Desk. All parents will receive a two-part security tag. One part goes on the child and the other stays with the parent. The parent must present the tag to their caregiver upon returning to the Nursery to pick up their child. Please do not bring nuts or peanut based snacks. Pagers are available upon request.

The Ark

The Ark is for children 2 years old through kindergarten, and is a place where they can go during the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services. The Ark is located in room 104 in the Children's Building. All parents will receive a two-part security tag. One part goes on the child and the other stays with the parent. The parent must present the tag to their caregiver upon returning to the nursery to pick up their child. Our staff will escort your child to Sunday school and back to the Ark while you attend Sunday school or worship.

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS is for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed for mothers with children under school age, infant through kindergarten. MOPS is for women with different lifestyles and different backgrounds, some from the church, some unchurched, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mother they can be. The nursery Throughout the Week

There is a place for your child (infant through kindergarten) in our nursery while you serve or attend the many events throughout the day at Sugar Land Methodist. By reservation, your child will be cared for by our excellent staff while you attend church events.

Please Label Your Child's Items

We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items, so please make sure you label all diaper bags, bottles, pacifiers or any other items your child brings.

We're a Peanut-Free Campus

Some of children have severe allergic reactions to peanuts and other nuts. Please DO NOT bring any nuts or peanut based snacks.
