WAM! Wednesdays!!!

WAM! Wednesdays is our “new” Worship Arts and Music Ministry for children from 4 years old through 5th grade.  The children gather on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in KidsWorld and the Ministry Center (click here for campus map).  All children participate in the music sessions, and elementary children also attend elective sessions in art, dance, drama, instruments, media, and vocals.

Preschoolers and Kindergarteners have an exciting program using MusikGarten and Praisentations curriculum. Through these creative activities the children will discover new ways of sharing their gifts and their faith in the church and community.  WAM! Wednesdays will continue through the school year, following the FBISD calendar.  Cost is $15.00 per child, which covers the cost of supplies and a shirt.

A Handbell Choir Just for Children

Children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades are invited to participate in the Joy Bells Handbell Choir, which meets on Wednesdays from 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. in the Music Classroom, located in the Ministry Center. This is an extension of WAM! Wednesdays for those who want to learn more about reading music and the basics of playing handbells. The Joy Bells share their music in WAM! Wednesday programs and in worship.
