MOPS Registration Opens

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) has begun open registration for the 2008-2009 year. The purpose of MOPS is to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. Meetings are held twice a month on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Childcare is available, but space is limited. Registration packets are available in the church office. A Little Bit About MOPS

Mothers of Preschoolers, or MOPS, is a program designed for mothers with children under school age, infants through Kindergarten. More than 3900 MOPS groups gather in churches throughout the United States and in 35 other countries to meet the needs of women each year; women with different lifestyles and different backgrounds, some from the church, some unchurched, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mother they can be.

MOPS Events

MOPS meets two Fridays a month from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. The meetings usually consist of a prayer, devotion or testimonial, speaker or craft and small group discussion time.

During the meeting, children ages infant (6 months+) through Kindergarten are enrolled in the MOPPETS program. Your child, under the guidance of wonderful, loving teachers, learn lesson, do a craft, have a snack and play. Infants younger than 6 months can stay with you at the meeting.

Registration for MOPS

The $70 registration fee is non-refundable unless we are unable to place you. MOPS International receives $20 to cover your subscription to MOPS to MOM magazine. The remaining $50 is applied to your fall dues which includes childcare. The $50 spring dues will be collected in January. We also charge $5 per child per semester to cover teacher appreciation gifts for Christmas and end of the year gifts. Confidential scholarships are available for those in need by contacting the MOPS Coordinator. If we are not able to place you, we will gladly return your check and you will remain on our waiting list until we can get you in.
