Aluminum Cans

Recycle your aluminum beverage cans and aluminum cat food cans to help support our mission programs here at Sugar Land First United Methodist. Drop off all your aluminum cans in the round blue recycling bins located in The Commons, Great Hall Lobby, Student Life Center, and The PARC. Please empty all cans and if possible, rinse and flatten cans to increase storage capacity. With your help, beginning in 2007, we have been able to recycle over 600 pounds of aluminum.

Ink Jet Cartridges

Recycle your empty inkjet cartridges to help us raise funds. The empty inkjet cartridges can be dropped off in the Missions Room (705) in the Education Center, and placed on the recycle shelf to your left in the inkjet cartridge box. We accept all brands of inkjet cartridges.

Toner Cartridges

We now accept all brands of toner cartridges to be recycled. You can drop off the toner cartridges in the Missions Room (705) in the Education Center, and placed on the recycle shelf to your left in the toner cartridge box.

Cell Phones

You can now recycle all your old cell phones and accessories. You can take them to the Missions Room (705) in the Education Center, and place on the recycle shelf to your left in the cell phone box.

Eye Glasses

Recycle your unused eyeglasses and accessories to benefit Benevolent Missions International, which provides free eye care to the underserved in many areas around the world. Eyeglasses can be placed in the eyeglass basket on the Missions Table outside Room 701 in the Education Center. Visit www.eyemissions.com to learn more about Benevolent Missions International.
