Hearts and Hammers

As part of our continued commitment to local mission outreach, we are participating in the Ft. Bend CORPS Hearts and Hammers program. Most projects consist of basic exterior repairs, painting, and yard work. No special skills are necessary, but those with carpentry skills are most helpful. You may even find you have a skill you are unaware of.

The homes for these projects typically belong to local residents over 65 years of age with no means of doing the needed home repairs on their own. If they don’t get the help we provide, the homes will continue to deteriorate. Your help will allow them to have a better quality of life and help prevent possible health and injury risk from poor housing conditions.
