High Energy, Life-Changing Summer Fun!

A summer day camp right in your neighborhood! Pine Cove Base Camp is coming to Sugar Land Methodist Church with all the fun activities, great staff, and life-changing ministry that happens in a week of camp.

After five days with some of the most fun and exciting college students in the country, your child will be energized for the upcoming school year and ready for their own spiritual journey. Campers will experience Jesus through Bible study, worship, and time with their counselor, as well as participate in tons of great camp activities like a climbing wall, blow-ups, water slide, team sports, funny skits and more!

The camp will be held July 8-12, 2013 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. The camp is $235 ($50 is a non-refundable deposit).  NOTE:  The cost of Pine Cove Base Camp was printed in error in some publications - the cost is $235 for the week.

We are looking for Host Homes for our College Counselors for Pine Cove Base Camp.  Who would stay in my home?  3 or more college students of the same gender.  How long?  From Sunday evening until Saturday morning.  Where do they sleep? Each person in their own bed but can be air mattress or cots.  Do I provide transportation?  No they have their own transportation.  What about food?  The Host Homes provide breakfast each morning and dinner 2 or 3 nights during the week.  Laundry?  Since the staff travels each weekend, having access to a washer and dryer would be appreciated.  If you are interested in being a Host Home for these amazing counselors, contact Dena Lee at dena [dot] lee [at] sugarlandmethodist [dot] org.
