About Serving on the Children's Ministry Team

The Children's Ministry Team is made up of a Lay Leader, Sunday School Coordinators, a Secretary and the Children's Ministry Director. The function of the team is to plan and execute ministry events and discuss issues of growth and development of Children's Ministry as a whole.

Lay Leader

Spiritual Gifts: Discernment, Wisdom, Prophecy, Administration

Job Description:

• Serve on the Children's Ministry Team
• Attend Leadership Team meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month

Kid's Kingdom, The Journey, and World Changers Coordinators

Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Discernment, Wisdom

Job Description:

• Serve on the Children's Ministry Team
• Assist the Director of Children's Ministry with setting up CMT meetings
• Record the minutes of Children's Ministry Team meetings

Secretary

Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Helps

Job Description:

• Serve on the Children's Ministry Team
• Assist the Director of Children's Ministry in helping teachers implement their lessons by providing them with guidance and materials
• Record the minutes of Children's Ministry Team meetings
• Send cards to children, teachers and shepherds on birthdays, anniversaries, deaths, etc.
