our values for ministryreaching, growing, serving

A Dedication to Grace

God’s love for all humanity is uniquely expressed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3.16

A Dedication to the Bible

The Bible, as the living word of God, should be presented in a relevant fashion, concentrating on its application to contemporary daily life.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." James 1.22

A Dedication to Worship

Christians are encouraged to celebrate God’s presence, both in personal and corporate worship.

"Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing." Psalm 100.2

A Dedication to Prayer

Christians are called to focus on the power and priority of prayer in everything, both as individuals and corporately as a body of believers.

"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving..." Colossians 4.2

A Dedication to Community

An authentic biblical community of faith offers loving relationships and life changing growth through small groups, and affirms unity by embracing differences within the body of Christ.

"So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind..." Philippians 2.1-2

A Dedication to Serve

Pastors and leaders mobilize, equip, and release believers to serve in their areas of giftedness and calling, serving God through the church and in the world...

"As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace..." 1 Peter 4.10

A Dedication to Mission

The Holy Spirit will use believers as servants of God, in all areas of their lives, to reach and disciple persons for Christ.

"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3.17

A Dedication to Give

Church members are encouraged and led to discover the privilege, responsibility, and blessing of financial giving.

"Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9.7
